Lens User Manual
Lens is a single post-processing effect containing four optical effects. Each
is an independent toggle, and a disabled effect costs nothing.
Chromatic aberration
Channel separation that grows toward the edges of the frame, with a strength control and a radial mode. The cheapest way to stop a render looking digitally clean.
Lens flare
Ghosts and halo, tuned against real camera reference rather than a stock bloom.
- Nine ghosts, each with its own colour and position along the flare axis.
- A halo with its own radius, colour fringing and intensity.
- Source and softness controls — what counts as a light source and how soft the result is, so a flare responds to your lighting instead of blowing out on anything bright.
Lens dirt
Your own grime texture, lit only by genuinely bright parts of the scene — so the smear across the lens flares when you look at the sun and stays invisible otherwise. Intensity and spread controls.
Vignette and grain
| Effect | Controls |
|---|---|
| Vignette | Strength, size, softness |
| Grain | Amount, colour noise, boil rate |
The boil rate gives you grain that moves at a filmic pace instead of buzzing every frame.
